Hi- I’m Jessica Gada (she/her/hers). I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed/Board Certified Art Therapist trained in Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR). I specialize in guiding adults through healing and transformative processes as they navigate career, academic, and relationship decisions— especially in the wake of difficult life events, such as grief, job loss, trauma, or troubles in the home or workplace.

A trauma-informed clinician, I collaborate with my clients to understand their unique backgrounds and belief systems in a safe, LGBTQIA+ affirming and culturally sensitive anti-racist setting. I believe in Health at Every Size. Together we can see what works for you, whether it’s engaging in a creative or spiritual exploration, journaling your way to clarity, or using approaches like EMDR to heal old wounds. it's time for YOU...

WHAT MY CLIENTS ARE SAYING:

“Thank you for creating a refuge where I was reminded of how human I still was. Your kindness, support, and understanding made all the difference...”

“Working with you was definitely the single most effective treatment I have ever received and we did it without ever meeting in person.”

“I have had experience in CBT. However, I had found that there was still one piece to the puzzle, one small but significant piece to my journey that still remained unresolved although it had been addressed countless times over the years. Through ‘Talk’ Therapy, Art Therapy, and Guided Meditation, you guided me to approach and see that missing piece of the puzzle through another set of eyes. Your guidance via Art Therapy enabled me to find an enjoyable, less upsetting way to approach problem solving, which I continue to use frequently today...”

INDIVIDUAL work

Understand and heal from your experiences with depression, anxiety, grief/loss, and more. Let go of negative self-talk and self-doubt. Learn to trust yourself and others, build quality relationships (and let go of toxic ones), and move into the best version of yourself. You already have all the tools you need— I will help you uncover them.

GROUP Therapy

Find strength and comfort with like-minded group participants as you explore coping skills aimed at mind-body awareness, self-expression, distress tolerance, and building a better relationship with yourself.
